PROVIDENCE UNDERGROUND FREAK FEST ECO-RAVE SHAMAN SLAM
P.U.F.F.E.R.S. was an annual outdoor festival of experimental music, produced by R.K. Projects in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence across five editions between 2011 and 2016. Each edition was built as a community production. R.K. Projects financed the festival, secured permits and street closures through city departments, sourced sound systems and vendors, and oversaw booking and site production. The festival itself was made possible by members of Providence’s arts and music community who gave their time and labor to it each year. The first edition was headlined by Tony Conrad in duo with Eli Keszler in the parking lot of the Paragon Mill; the last, presented in September 2016, returned to the same block.
