R.K. Projects (2010–2016) was an offsite gallery, publishing project, and music series in Providence and New York.
It received a SEED grant from the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, an unsolicited, nomination-based award of three years of unrestricted operating capital, given to arts organizations in regional U.S. cities to build capacity and programming. Programming ended in 2016, under the name Proxy.
R.K. Projects was named for the Paris artist Richard Keller (1938–1994). In 2014, the stewardship of his work was set apart from the platform as an ongoing initiative. The work is held in New York, where it continues to be conserved, documented, and presented.
Founded by Sam Keller and Tabitha Piseno.
